What are your suggestions of other keyword suggestion tools that do the same as Overture did? Even though it was inaccurate, it was a great tool and many other sites that I have looked into make you pay before you sign up.

An answer to Rick – I pay attention to a lot of different countries and a country specific search engine does not have as much “other” stuff. I have search results from Peru and China on the same documents that have been translated into Chinese and Spanish. These results come from Google. Baidu only sends very limited traffic that is very specific to the search -
Google gives too much garbage – Peru results aimed at my audience in Spain, geography problem.
MSN is the worst, if I search in English I only get French results because I live in France.
Google is going to be link VHS versus Betamax from a generation ago. Beta is better, in fact it is still used in TV worldwide. VHS lucked into a popularity that made them the leader. Google may do the same in China. The product may not be as good but they may win by luck or by marketing.

Care to elaborate on why google.cn is not better than Baidu?

Just curious. I keep hearing “Baidu knows China better” but I’ve yet to be convinced with any decent argument. Just claims.
